Code P0303 Cylinder 3 misfire. I replaced spark plugs, plug wire, coil and fuel filter. Idles rough and blinking CEL under load. I just did a compression test and it was over 200psi. I never have done one before and that seems a bit high from what I could find. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Could possibly be a sticky valve, try putting in a fuel additive that's cleans carbon out.

No lightened flywheel? If not then I'm kind of stumped.

Very stock car with 128k on it. It does have some minor oil leaks. I think the cam seals have backed off since the timing belt was done at 110k. Something else I read about was an ignitor but you would think it would be more cylinders showing misfires. I'm going to get a reader again and see if there are more codes now.

Moved the fuel injector to cylinder #1 and the misfire code followed. I have always dumped a half bottle Amsoil Pi when I have changed the oil. So injector service and clean or new ones?

I'd vote for new ones, just to give yourself the peace of mind.

So do I walk up to any old Subaru and pull the injectors Mr Done? Rockauto has prices ranging from $30 to close to $100 for each injector and it seems to make a difference on the type of transmission. A clean and service for all four injectors is close to $100. Is there a way to test them for functionality before this?
