This is on the wife's car (again.. :ugh: )
    2002 Subaru Impreza 2.5rs
    90,4xx miles
    bone stock
Oil has 1,8xx miles on it when I looked last night
Spark plugs haven't been changed in probably 30k miles
Air filter needs to be changed this weekend

Situation: First time this happened, Last Wed, the wife said she was going on an onramp, floored it, and it came on. She had very low gas (under 1/4 tank) and she informed me she had been filling up at the local cub gas station  We filled up with some 89 oct BP gas, cleared the code, and it was all good.

Last night the wife once again was on a on ramp, this time she had a little over 1/2 a tank of the same 89oct BP gas, using 1/2 to 3/4 throttle it threw the code. The car runs fine even after the code is thrown.

I'm assuming this is a bad sensor, but I'd like to confirm. If I've forgotten any details that might be needed please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

in both cars, (02 RS, 98 GT)
keep in mind, the car is now eight years old.
