    Hey all!

    We are sponsoring the Midwest Subaru Shoot Out again this year and would like to encourage all to come and enjoy the event with us. If possible we would like to get a caravan going to the event. Last year about 200 subarus showed up and MN wasn't represented enough!

    darn, I'd love to go down for this, especially since I go back to chicago almost every month anyway...except there is an autox up here that weekend, and I have family stuff :unsure:

    I use to go out to this when I lived around the Chicago area. A lot of the 815subaru.com guys are involved with this. Good group of guys.

    We will be leaving our shop in Minneapolis around 10-11am Friday Morning. Our plan is to drive straight through with a few stops for gas and food.

    Evanstown Subaru is hosting a meet Friday night so we will be attending that and likely checking into our hotel after. We will be staying at the Jameson Suites in Arlington Heights

    Plenty of places to stay in Rockford. For those that have the time, I recommend taking the roads on the WI-side of the river down towards Dubuque and then heading east on Route 20.

    Coulee carving is quite fun.

    Be sure to hit Ridott Corners just east of Freeport, IL for the best damn cheeseburger you will ever have. Seriously.

    We would like to be on the road at 10am so 9:45 should be good!

    Be sure to bring PLENTY of change, the tolls can get quite expensive. We will be stopping a couple times on the way for gas and food.
