I'll get straight to the question will tuner lugs work with stock bbs wheels? There seems to be a lot of debate on this question and i just wanted to see if some one could just give me a straight answer (although I'm leaning towards yes maybe somebody will save me before i do something stupid).

There's alot of debate about this? They're lug nuts. If the lug seat matches the wheel, and the thread pitch and diameter is correct, they'll thread onto the studs and hold the wheel on correctly.

The only place I could see where debate would happen is on IWSTI, some of those retards have drowned themselves in the koolaid and forget they are driving an Impreza.

"Tuner" lugnuts can mean two different things, in my experience.

They can mean the spline drive type, commonly used in aftermarket wheels that have deep (and narrow) wells that the lug nuts sit in. But the lug seats are still standard 60* conical seats.

Or, they can mean a lugnut that has a very narrow, flat bottomed seat, where the engagement is actually on the outside of the lugnet as much as on the seat.

Often the latter are also spline-drive like the former, making things even more confusing.

As long as your lugnuts have a 60* conical seat, you're fine for stock wheels.

(now, Honda/Acura and VW/Audi use a spherical seat, which is a whole 'nother issue).
