wow.. do people think that a person who basically is turning his Sti into a tube framed 'street' car wouldnt have thought some of these things through...
Woah, settle down. Sometimes little details can be missed, so constructive questions can often be a good thing.
i agree. some of these questions are just plain silly though? but what ever i will answer as they come.
hey I want you to tune this setup on a hydra. How long do you think it would take to do? Driveability and all? Trying to figure out costs.
This is what Chet has to say about your manifold. Beireis6686 (11:14:19 AM): they are much cheaper alternatives with warranties if they did break ... SilverBulletSTi (11:14:37 AM): then dont buy one Beireis6686 (11:14:50 AM): Your a fool if you do
we havent even finished the manifold? no post about warranties or anything? all i can do is say he is an idiot for jumping the gun. oh and i want to know who is going to be cheaper and come with warranties?
Lets clear the air! I think you guys are on a great start and like I just told Dream if these were marked at the 800-1000 dollar price range with EGT bung and 1.5 0r twin scroll up pipe for stock or rotated mount these things would be sick! IMHO! I guess I just don't know how large of a market there is for the fog light location.
thats why you are an idiot. this is the goal with the header. we want to make a header that fits with all oil pans (moroso, cosworth, arc, wrx, sti) that fits around all stock parts that is made universal to allow for different set ups (fog light, stock or rotated) plus be made with a sch 10 stainless steel and use 1/2 stainless flanges. now if you can tell me one header that can do all of that that is in your 800-1000 range i will be amazed! full raves is $2,998.00 for just the header and it only fits the stock sti oil pan.
And that's Full Race a company that is well defined in the sport compact industry as making product that are top notch. Best of luck to you on the headers.
wel you got to start somewhere. chimeras wont be robot tiged but will fit more things and allow for more options and hold up the same and still come in under there price range. i think im doing something wrong?...
Chet, no one can take you seriously with that avatar. From a customer standpoint, I really like the concept of making the header not only universal but modular as well. It's truly a very innovative idea. I'm eager to see how it "pans" out for you guys as a business.
I'd gladly buy a Chimera pipe set over Full Race, especially if there is a large price gap between the two. Full Race = robot welded Chimera = Yeti welded
yes.. I giggled too good thing it wasnt a year ago when he decided to weld this the skillz haz far improved...
No, I have the brains to realize that dumping $15k into my car is still going to make it slow in the grand scheme of things.
this guys location makes Matts look silly http://www.tonyrigoliperformance.com.au/Videos/WSID-Backyarda10.6.avi
