so I get this pm from resident stump..... I told him NO cause all your guy's peni_ isnt big enough to fill my mouth
Yeah, they are. Ass. $6,475.00 http://www.full-race.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=842_1151_1155&products_id=1902 $4-4.5k for PPGs or 6mt fuel stuff -- $700 aps fmic -- $1300 pistons -- $400 That right there is in the $13k neighborhood. Then if some stump like yourself is doing it, you'll have to shell out another $23309832 to have somebody else do all of the install work and tuning.  :eek4:
I said you didnt have the seeds to go beyond the stocker, then you ramble about some full race kit. Nice job. A+ will read again. Also, I would pay more to watch you try to install all that stuff
lol! what is going on hear? the kit will be nice if i get it to work the way i want it too. if you don't like it because chimera is a new company then so be it. ether buy header sets made from 16ga that have cracked over and over or spend a little bit more for a nice piece which is what im trying to make.
Well I don't know why he would say anything like that...no where did we say a price. We also never said anything about warranties...
Stock location is for weenies that can't do some work. Spending $1k on a manifold for a stock location turbo is rediculous anyways. Fabricating the pipe set is possibly the most enjoyable part of a project. The rest is pretty mundane.
I said that because of the price Fobia initially said he would like to get for the piece. I am not cutting you guys down for the last time I was giving a little constructive criticism and then all this happened. I am standing by what I have said and fully think that at a price near $800-1000 with egt bung and 1.5 scroll to stock location you guys would probably sell these. Hell I have been talking with Dipp for a month about such a product from you guys.
im not making a kit for stock location turbos? its a waist of time imo? im making a rotated and fog light kit that uses the borg s366 turbo. the header is set up to benefit a bigger turbo not stock tiny things. i said if someone wants a up pipe made for a stock location i would do one on the side but that's all i said.
but I prefer something that fills my mouth not picks my teeth... looks good... so the final version.. you guys cleaning down the weld, coating or polishing??
I'm glad you're fitting it on a GC, that'll mean plenty of room for the GD chassis. Also perfect for swaps.
ok so hear is the deal with the gc chassis. the header fits great on it but hears the deal. with the gc chassis and a koyo you don't have room for the stock fan assembly so you have to run aftermarket fans. and with them it fits perfect once you cut off the stock fan mounts that are on the radiator. pics to fallow
look how tucked up this header is! booyah! ready for fog light setup! this is how tight this setup is:
