clearance on 4/2 pots

    got some rims in and was wondering if they would clear 4/2 pots brakes they are 17x7.5 et40

    My 6 cylinder makes 1250 lb/ft of torque.
    There is more to it than just size and offset. Spoke design is going to play a part as well as a few other variables.

    You bought the rims without knowing for sure they'd work?

    Yeah, it depends largely on the rim design and spoke design. There are a number of 16" wheels that fit just due to their inner diameter and inner spoke design.

    and some 15" wheels! clearance is a funny thing... do you have any pics of the wheels?

    I'll say the same thing when I get asked this question at Lexus.

    Try ONE on the front and see if it fits. Then you'll know for sure. Make sure to SPIN in the air before you drive.
