clutch will not engage works in reverse?/ Help anyone

So I have a 02 wrx and a couple weeks ago my clutch pedal started to feel little lighter and spungy - now clutch will not engage unless your in reverse any ideas?

 

I had a bit of a similar problem.
Bleed the hell out of the system. it may be an issue with old fluid or air bubbles causing the slave cylinder not to actuate fully.
it may be worse though, check around both the master and the slave cylinders for apparent leaks.

 

Think it may be the clutch? pressure plate?

Try bleeding it see if that works.
