    Hey guys,
    I had a lot of interest to run this again so here it is...

    About CNlight:
    CNlight is a division of Guangdong Bright Star Light & Electricity Co.,Ltd, which was established in 1992 and became a public company in the Shenzhen Stock exchange in 2006. CNlight has been manufacturing its HID xenon lamp and ballast with its own patents since 2000 and is now the largest HID manufacturer in China. They?ve been carrying the E11 certificate from April 2005 for both of bulb and ballast and also passed the ISO/TS16949. At the moment they offer many kits for vehicles with H1, H3, H4 single beam, H4 hi/low with halogen, H4 moving, H4 bi-xenon, H6, H7, H8, H9, H10, H11, H12, H13, H13 moving, 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007, 9007 moving, d2s, d2c, 880/881 and etc. They also have many different color temperatures available from 4300k to over 30000k. CNlight has 7 production lines imported from Germany. CNlight sells roughly 300,000 bulbs and 80,000 ballasts per month. About 80% are sold overseas.

    Available Bulb Sizes:
    H1/H3/H4/H6/H7/H8/H9/H10/H11/H12/H13/9004/9005(HB3)/9006(HB4)/9007(HB5)/D2S/D2C

    Single Beam:
    There are also Xenon Low/Halogen Hi, Bi-Xenon Moving, and True Bi-Xenon models available in H4, 9004, 9007 and H13.

    Bi-Xenon Moving:
    Bi-Xenon Moving is the same concept of what you get from other manufacturers who sell ?Bi-Xenons?. The HID bulb is connected to a solenoid and when you turn on your hi beams, the solenoid will move the bulb back to change the beam pattern. To make things easier, we?re calling it Bi-Xenon Moving.

    Xenon/Halogen:
    The Xenon Halogen combo is a single beam HID bulb with a halogen bulb attached for high beam. Note that the HID bulb has a much longer lifespan (6x) than halogen bulbs. But if you rarely use high beams, this would work out great!

    Available Color Temperatures:
    3000k/4300K/5000K/6000K/8000K/10000K/12000K.

    [IMG]

    For the more extreme colors, please PM me for pricing.

    Warranty:
    The CNlight kits come with a factory 1 year warranty. If you happen to have any issues within 1 year of the time you receive your kit, I will personally handle your claims with the manufacturer!

    Pricing:
    Prices will be:
    Single Beam - $135

We want to do this as quickly as possible and get everyone their stuff as quickly as possible.

    Can people who bought from the other group buys leave comments please? I'm interested in HIDs but I know pictures just don't help convey the effect of the lighting. Also, how easy was it to install, any issues where fitment is concerned?

    Definitely! I encourage people to leave comments! The install is plug and play. All necessary parts are provided for. The only thing that may require some custom work is your rain boot. If your rain boot is rubber, you may have to slit the hole a little larger for the bulb to fit. If the boot is plastic, you may have to drill a larger hole in it. You're best bet is to ask people with the same vehicle as yours who have HIDs and see what they did.

    ^I'll do a little research and see if they make 9007 relay harnesses. That'll spare you some headache with wiring.

    Edit: Wow! That cutoff is sexy.

    actually it's H7,

    the cutoff is sexy, but it's still aimed a little too high...the top of the light should be level with the ground (i think)

    I might be in for a set of h7 and another set of h3. I have a bad feeling I am getting screwed elsewhere on my other set. I will keep ya up to date.

    HID lights are like the ones you see on most BMW's and Benz. They are the generally bright blue lights you see on higher end cars

    Edit: They will light up the road substantially better than your regular halogens. More light = better visibility.

    n00b questions:

    - Link to fitment page (07 wagon)?
    - How do the the Bi-Xenon Moving and Xenon/Halogens work with stock high-beams and high-beam switch if the hi/lo are located in the same vs. separate positions?
    - If I get both Bi-Xenon Moving (8000k) and Xenon fogs (temp?) can I be seen from outer space?

    Alright, lets do this one by one.

    Fitment:
    http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/]
    Everything I am looking at shows that you have the H7 bulbs which are single beam. This means you have separate housings for both your low and high beams. You do not and cannot usebixenons.

    Bixenon Work:
    I think my previous response might have answered your question, but the way the single housing (dual filament halogen) bulbs work is like this. They have 3 prongs (vs the 2 prongs for single filament halogen). One of the prongs is related to high beams, so power to that prong will trigger your high beams.

    The Bixenons work the exact same way. When they sense that you are triggering your high beams, they will move (forward and backwards) to create the high and low beam pattern.

    Fog lights/Space Question:
    You cannot use the bixenons for your regular headlamps.

    But with the single beams, the new WRX have those sexy projectors which create an amazing cutoff line. (See Monkey's link to his pictures). You won't be seen from space (in terms of glare aiming to space), but as those pictures indicate, you're going to have a nice bright light in the front of your car.

    As to the fogs, it's all preference, but I would recommend the 3000k (yellow).

    And for a color scale:

    3000k = Yellow
    4300k = White/Sunlight/Most light out put(Most, if not all OEM applications use 4300k)
    5000k = White with slight blue
    6000k = White with a little blue
    8000k = Even bluer
    10,000k = Too blue, and I would not recommend it for street use, especially since it makes you attractive to police.

    Also, realize that as you go higher up in temperature from 4300k, the light output is going to decrease.

    Hope that helps you out, let me know if you have any other questions.

    Bugeye application

    Who is installing these in the bugeyes 02-03? That would be a normal halogen housing, a non projector housing. I've heard many issues with cutoff and blinding people with HIDs on the '02-03 which makes it sound just plain dangerous. As much as I'd love to get some HIDs installed I just can't justify pissing off everyone else on the road. I've seen a few pics from nasioc that show a cutoff that is way too high which leads me to believe that I should just stick with regular halogens in the stock headlights.

    If you have installed these on the '02-03 please post up some pics of your cutoff.

    Thanks
