codes and extra plug

put a new motor in my 02 wrx, the new 2.0 came from a 2005 wrx. i used the 05 harness and found what seems to be an extra plug.

the check engine light came on, i scanned it, the code came out to be for the MAF so a couple days later i get ready to try and fix it and thought id scan it again. this time it says its o2 sensor which is hooked up i havent checked it yet but i found an extra plug that is the same plug as like the cps and o2 sensor. so i was wondering if the 05s had an extra 02 sensor... ? and if this could fix it http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/unofficial-05-06-lgt-2-2k-5w-resistor-up-pipe-131488.html

 

where is this extra plug u are speaking of located at? pictures of it would help alot as well.

 

near the air box and coolant fill. id have to wait untill tomorrow to snap a pic.

 

whats the motor swaping into.

 

i put it in my 02.

 

I did the same swap and I do not recall the extra plug u speak of but pic would b sweet

 

Post the wire colors and I can check Alldata too.

 

Sounds like it would before the EGT probe.
