none of the code readers are really any different. one isnt going to pull up one that another doest. what is leading you to belive that the coil is bad

So yea, what model and year car? Also if you have misfire on two or more cylinders it may not be coils... since they dont go out together. Start with spark plugs first.

should i just go in and replace them all because i cant be pinpointed on which one.
why would a spark plug just go out i have never had that happen before

You should always replace all. They are a maintence parts and should be replaced at 60k.

Relax talk it out. Whats happening... In your best english spelling voice. Not turning over? Or not turning on? Everything pluged back in? Coil harness put back in the correct spots? Coils pressed on hard enough?

Also what plugs did you use? Did you get pre gapped plugs?

is it only one that is misfiring now. whats the gap on the plugs at.
move that coil to the other side and see if the misfire follows it.

if i do that how do i tell if the misfire follows?
check the plugs after the test.
if its blacked it didnt ignite right
