yea i know im looking at exedy but cant really afford it but need a clutch cuz mine is toast. 350 wheel torque into a clutch that is rated for 270 dosent work lol

well, you'll just have to balance the cost with the risk of it being junk and having to replace it again in short order.

At 350 wtq I would think it would be more economical to get one that's known to be okay.

Whether or not Competition Clutch's are okay or not I can't say.

I am running the CCI Stg2 on my stg2 STi... Very aggressive, especially for a stg2. I am still fighting with getting the engagement point right, so I am not yet sure how well the clutch works on its own (took me 3 times to get the air out of the clutch line!). So, the jury is still out, but I will say the ACT Stg2, in the RS, is a much easier clutch to drive.

gotcha. yea i had a cheap ebay clutch. it was rated for 275 wheel torque and i launch it at the drag strip once or twice a year and 3 or 4 times as practice for each trip. the clutch just got shredded by the 350 wheel torque lol
