converting side feed to top feed in LGT

i have a 2005 LGT 2.5 limited wagon (pd: 8/04). i'm wondering if my stock side feed manifold intakes (14011AB431/14011AB441) can run top feed injectors or do i need 07 manifold intakes? i'm wanting to try to keep it oem vs doing the injector convert kits.

i have a 07+ LGT/STI fuel rail. the question is can stock intakes work? the engine is broke down and being rebuilt this month. body is being prepped for painting.

k but for real though, have you looked around on legacygt.com? otherwise @Aluminati might be able to get you a part you need?

 

I think the intake manifolds are the same but the tgv housings are not. You would need top feed tgv housings and then top feed injectors. the injectors go into the tgv housings not the intake manifold.

 

yes i meant tgv. subaru lists them as part of intake manifold. crap they both look so simliar visually. thanks.
