I noticed that header the other day. Appears that the uppipe is part of that thing, so does that mean the only gaskets used are at the heads and turbo? If so, seems like it'd be easier to seal up (currently trouble shooting an exhaust leak...). However, since it's an ELH does that mean you'd lose the blub blub sound? Cuz I ain't paying to lose that.

Guy said he wouldn't sell them to me unless I paid him an additional $60 to mount and balance them ($15 per tire). I said I have access to a tire machine and will do them myself. He proceeded to tell me he paid $70 for the tires and can't make only $10 off them. I proceeded to tell him to have a nice day...
So he payed 70$ used them for a winter and after a year he wants to make money off them... Much less he wants to double his money? This is a new concept...
He told me that him offering to mount and balance for me for $15 was a great deal and that most people appreciate that service he offers. He also said that "most shops" charge $20-25 per tire to mount and balance. Pretty sure last time I paid to get tires mounted in town here it was $7/per at Fleet Farm.

What do folks think of these? I think he's priced them a little high, but I tripped all over myself this morning to go get them, after not finding any wheels I wanted on CL for the last month. I paid him $200 to take two into my possession already (stupid ATM limit). The tires are pretty worn on one corner of each. They may last me a couple of months. $350?
