Yes. I'll post up some road dyno comparo's when I get home (will likely start a new thread). Both Dave and Ryan's excel dyno numbers where very close to RS's mustang dyno. Also in both cases, the Datalog Dyno numbers were significantly higher. It reads closer to a Dynojet. See above. The only major difference between a road dyno and a shop dyno (assuming both are calibrated correctly) is intake air temp and road "noise" or flatness.
and I've seen 2004 wrx's with much less abuse than yours....so what's your point? dyno is a dyno....whoopie
I drive it like it is supposed to be driven, they didn't produce these cars to ***** foot around in. This isn't your mothers Caravan Dave!
So you're saying you'll be at the next rallyx? Or I can expect to see you at an autox, track day, or performance driving clinic soon?
Next year track days, thats what I have always wanted. Straight line speed is fun but thats not what these cars are for. Nope again speed limit my friend, two 20 overs my first year in the Subaru means SPEED LIMIT for me.
Who said anything about straight line? ORLY? http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showpost.php?p=538052&postcount=82 So KSAL was going half the speed limit?
autox next sunday rallyx Nov.1 If you're into the straight line business, Rockfalls next week and Maple Grove has at least one event left this season. Also, keep an eye out for an MNSOC winter driving/accident avoidance clinic this winter.
, my fault. Grove creek (1/8) There's also the one in Iowa... Cedar falls? The point is, if you wanted to, you could find something.
Yep thats all ... and again thank you Ronnie, Lee and all the other staff at RS for the food, drinks, and use of the dyno!
What do you mean, I still mounds of dirt when I'm in the area, I always wondered what the heck are they going to do with all that dirt. I use to want to drive in and just start exploring. LOL I got to this event a few mins too late so I missed out, but I have a dyno date for this Thursday. It was a beautiful Sunday in October and so I ended up just enjoying the nice drive back home.
I think this is already tooo many. This will cause a huge problem and make the competition too steep to find a place on the podium. Besides bench racing is where its at. At least from what I've seen mr. Paul R. has successfully motivated others to participate in his events, by his own means. We need more people like Pauly!
Ya, I'm always afraid that thing is going to fly off! I keep seeing reruns of this show on Discovery Channel that shows a windmill that spins too fast and explodes and destroys everything around it... Yup, I think that every time I drive by it
Here you go sir. A few quick videos. If it's your car post up your numbers in the video comments on youtube.
