Cutting Bumper For Tow hook

    Searched but didnt come up with anything, any one done this before?
    What did you cut it with?
    did you remove the bumper when cutting?
    how much did you remove?

    that's the factory tow hook. you shouldn't have to cut anything, there's a piece that comes out

    yeah it is, iam talking bout the white foam or part of the bumper beam.
    (this is my car as it sits now)

    yeah pic i posted. sorry if that is confusing. i just want to get rid of the white foam around the bumper, it looks bad

    Uh, then pull out the hook and put the cap back on? Or am I missing something?

    You'd rather not see the foam absorber, so you'd rather see the steel bumper support?

    this is the easy way. otherwise a sharp chisel or knife would work if you didn't want to remove the bumper cover.

    the long way is to take the bumper cover off and chop the section out (it's foam, cut it with any number of tools)
