does anyone know how you hook up the oil pressure gauge? I need to know what wire goes to the sending unit. I got the gauge a long time ago and lost the directions.

    Thanks

I have some maddad gauges. What do you mean which wire? Pretty sure my sending unit just has a positive (outputs to gauge), and a ground.

I'll save you the time. Send it back, they're junk. They have a known problem for not reading properly.

This is true of the older gauge revisions. Rich/Maddad have been very helpful in replacing broken/un-working parts, and from what I've read, the revised units work just fine. Haven't had any problem with mine.

I know Rallysti on here has been dealing with them for over a year, trying to get new gauges. He finally recived them 2 weeks ago, but they sent the wrong size. Also, he's supposed to already have the new versions in, but they work just as bad as the first set he had in his car. He is sending them all back, in trade for a set of headers. Maybe he just had really bad luck with them.

Yeah, I've had a similar problem with my EGT gauge. Burned through three units that would just stop working after about 2 weeks of use.

Rich is going to replace all the gauge with the green/white Ultra series gauges when they arrive (any day now). He's a very nice guy, but yes, I'm not sure I would recommend their gauges to anyone.

Uh, the cable that came with my gauge (that went from sending unit -> gauge) only had one single wire on the sending unit side. This single wire attached to the positive out on the sending unit.
