I was using "kitchen" as an in-his-endo.

 

Ok boys and girls. I have been challenged to enter the last event in a car that I am not used to. It will not be in M4. I am not sure if I will accept the challenge but there will be some serious driving needed if I do. It will have championship implications.

Speaking of championships, remember, you must be a full member of SCCA before the last event of the year and have run at least four RallyCrosses to be eligible for a year end award. The temp memberships are good for 15.00 off the membership and you can use one or two discounts toward the membership. The weekend memberships must have been issued in the last 60 days. If you ran both Sept and Oct, you've got both that you can use. To use both, you must call SCCA at 1.800.770.2055. If you only use one, you can use the online form at http://www.scca.com/joinnow.aspx . Please remember to fill in the referring member field as this gets that member a discount on their next renewal. If you want to give me the discount, feel free to use 152313 as the referring member. I'm sure there are others that would be happy to receive such a discount also.

After talking to Brent, I have decided he needs to be beat down a good deal. Mark Holden has invited me to drive his Sentra at the last event. If Brent doesn't win M2 at the last one, Mark H. wins the championship. I didn't want to screw up anyone's chances but Brent dared me to run saying that he wants to beat me head's up. He will soon learn the power of the dark side.

Just warning everyone. Be prepared to look away, it's gonna get ugly. Papa Carlson is goin' down.

Oh no. Looks like Carl, Amy and I may be fighting it out for 1st in M4. Then again Jim Cox could show up and we'll fight for second. No Utech or Beck in M4 really opens up the possibilities.

 

Think I'd better source a trailer for the last event and tow in.

Denny mentioned that the landowner was already working on the course (he grooms the course beforehand for us).

how long is this course in cannon falls? I hear on sunday something around a mile long.

 

look at the first post again.. that is what has me 2nd guessing my finances for this... ha ha ha....

i will be bringing my 4wheeler if I go.. no way am I gonna walk to the other side to pick up cones... ha hah a

 

now I want to go even more. but yes a 4 wheeler would be nice to have. I am guessing we can drive our cars to the other end as long as we park far enough away from the course. someone who has been there could chime in on that.

It's not that huge. Walking to the farthest point only takes a few minutes.

I'm very excited about this one: Having a nice long course will be invaluable for lessons on linking turn after turn after turn.
