    Anyone DIY this?

Morrie's credited me $250 towards the STS when I bought my STi. I had the STS on my 02 WRX. I have not installed it yet on the STi and am debating whether I should do it or pay someone $200 to do it.

This looks outdated but still relevant.

I put my own short throw in my 05 and it was very easy. Not sure about the newer models though. But that link you found is the best way to do it. I am in the Eagan area as well, PM or let me know if you would want some help.

That would be a good idea. My phone has a good enough camara, we could just use that for pictures.

heh, they all do now, don't they. We have a decent Canon that will work as well. I'm pretty booked until September. Let's keep in touch.

I'm also trying to get a few buddies I work with to do some weekend rides. Will keep you posted.

Paying someone to install a short throw shifter is like paying someone to change your wiper blades. One of the easiest things you can do IMHO.

@ Morrie's they change the wiper blades for free, if you buy a car wash.

    I kid.

I had no other way to respond to that comment - it was well said. It is resolved, I will install it with a Ninja.
