Picked up this '99 L today and the '07 will be going up for sale soon. Heated seats/mirrors still work, has the pimp compass/altimeter/barometer/temp pod ... golden! It has mild case of rusty fender on the rear pass, but "passable" body work on a cheap car is more than passable in my book. Stay tuned for 2" King/Iron Man springs, a roof rack, and some yuge mud flaps.

Looking good! I know somebody that might want that brush guard if you don't want it anymore. PM me if you want to get rid of it.

That is my favorite year body style for the foresters.

Got a _hell_ of a deal on this one and want to go back to not having a car payment. I will miss the SG greatly though :( The changes they made in the front suspension/steering from SF to SG are night and day.

Now with 100% more fwaps! I thought I'd try Gorilla Offroad Company for mud flaps this time and was not disappointed. At $109 shipped, they are about ~$40-50 cheaper than the Rally Armor top of the line. Material is definitely not the fancy flexible stuff RA has, but maybe it's similar to the cheaper stuff RA makes (I have no point of reference)? Hardware and instructions were fine. Install was kind of a b*tch due to all the rusted original fasteners, but it's amazing what you can accomplish with a hack saw and a pair of snips when the old guards/hardware are expendable ;)
