There's not much that would make you crash if there's low traffic. And you could see a cop a mile away, especially if you had a friend with binoculars. Talking mostly about the part just north of the corridor where the speed limit is 70.
We find it is best to drag race in school zones. #1 - No Cops #2 - Easy to sell meth on the side BTW big Street Race event going on this weekend. Meet @ Wal-Mart in Coon Rapids around 11:30pm. If you don't see anyone just wait a little longer.
Did you seriously just post this on the internet? Damage already done I guess... Look for the black honda. We've been thinking about moving that to St. Cloud btw.
Hold your testicles. 85. Got an A3 2.0T to 130 tho Edit: this was in the days before Audi changed their standard ECU limit from 130 to 155
You may have not noticed but around here we aren't concerned too much about speed... I mean, it's a Subaru community after all. The better question to ask is "how fast does your car look in a parking lot with the hood open?"
I've always wondered what those signs would register at if you hit triple digits....I won't be the driver to find out though! I personally hit 54 mph once...on my bicycle!
The fastest I've ever gone in the subaru was actually past a cop that should have pulled me but didn't...
Must have been in a school zone. They don't pull over for speeding there because they are catching all the J-walkers.
I can't imagine going 130, I bet that's a rush... but I mostly drive a prius so there you go, lol. How do you even keep the car on the road at that speed? I imagine 4WD helps quite a bit. What color is your subabarbu? Got any pics?
85 in a 60. I have NO ****ing idea what the cop was doing. He kept doing circles slowly in those emergency turnaround things for emergency vehicles. My Imp is marine blue pearl and if you see someone driving like a dumbass in a marine blue pearl 2012 it's probably me. City driving doesn't agree with me.
My favorite part about 35E is when you are heading south around Diffley/Cliff exit and if I go the posted speed limit the bumps in the road resonate with my wheelbase/suspension and my car bucks like a bronco. It could be my struts but also the roads just suck.
I have said this before and I will say it again. MNSubaru does have police officers as members on the site. So I REALLY hope that you are just trolling everyone, otherwise don't be too surprised if they happens to show up at one of your fun runs. Russ
I drive the stretch from Diffley-county rd 11 in Burnsville a lot and this is so true. Get a butt plug and it makes the ride so much more enjoyable
Russ, why do you have to ruin the fun? You could have atleast waited until he posted up a picture of his car and license plate number.
I approve of this thread. I also know firsthand that 394 westbound makes for a great high speed testing ground. I know this because the cops that I work with tend to bust people through there all the time for triple digit speeds. Maybe you can slip through?
Sneaky... Yeah those 12 cop cars waiting behind the exit are just stopping for doughnuts. Also don't mind the guy with the laser gun behind the overpass signage.
I've done over 120mph before - ON A TRACK! MAM to be exact - findtheline.com is a great source for doing track days. Seriously, spend $150 and gas money, maybe get a hotel and have a blast without having to worry about going to jail.
