this is a sweet build, If you need some help watching you work on your car naked let me know  I Pulled my 22t out of my legacy last night and popped the heads off this evening, the damn thing still has crosshatch on the cyls, 160k on an abused block FTW MAJOR props on this build, im scared. others will follow. hahahaha what is that, a 90r? lmao, no boost in 1st thats for damn sure
well did some work tonight. cut down the header about two inches and re welded it. also re worked the end tank on the intercooler to give room for the v band clamp on the compressor housing. so i went and stole my bumper back from the painter to test fitment. funniest thing is that i have more room now then the 40R as far as clearances. hear is some pics:
How well does it fit with your box you had in there before? The CHRA seems pretty short on that thing. Are all those schweitzer turbos like that?
same size as Garrett. the bw maybe a inch longer overall. as far as the box i had before. i have to make that fit again. i wanted to re work that anyway because of a part i left on it that made it a pain to get to the header bolts.
Your gonna need a caution label now... ****CAUTION**** Please Keep All Small Children & Pets Away From Front Of Car
I guess the S400 is the hot turbo for every car this year. Did you get yours with the T6 or T4 housing?
I think he would need some extra cylinders to do that. Unless he thinks this will get him into the 8's
the s3** is a t4 flange and whatever the next two numbers are is the size of the compressor wheel. the s4** is t6 flanged. when i get the auto i will be in fast mark land but not yet...
I asked because Majestic turbo in texas is putting T4 exhaust housings on S400 inlet housing. You also know whats sad. I can buy a huge S400 turbo for like 500-600 bucks but a wussy little 20G costs 1200.00
your next project(when you get bored of ripping most people apart) -- H6 gt40r swap in the sti (and rip everyone apart!!). :yumyum:
the turbo in the pic is a s400 cartridge or center section with a 74mm compressor wheel and the 83mm exhaust wheel. bullseye turbo just makes a line that has the # system i was talking about. msrp is $2300. lets just say i got a way better deal then that from map.
well finished up the exhaust tonight. everything fits well and should work sweet once it is all running. still need to get the v-band in the mail for finishing up the end tank on the ic but other then that theres not much more to fab tell i get more parts. hears some pics:
omg..LOVE the side exit. its just like that white gc. planning on putting wrap or something on the outlet so it doesnt melt the bumper cover?
every thing is still going to get coated and wrapped as well as some more room around the exhaust when it goes threw the bumper
this is more of what i got: http://www.dallasturbo.com/specials3.html but with the one you posted you would have to get a smaller exhaust housing because that thing is huge! would never spool it on our motors. hear is the link to the site i got mine from: http://www.bullseyepower.com/catalog.asp
Fobia your car is getting scary. I met you at firestone this fall and it sounded like your turbo was going to inhale the world. At what point do you legaly need a STAND CLEAR turbine inlet disclaimer on your front bumper.
