finished up the end tank for the intercooler tonight! pretty pumped on this so no my kit is done for the new turbo. all i need is to put it all together now and would be able to dive it if i wanted. so on to other little projects and buying more parts to get the motor done. heres the pics from tonight:

Your welding has much improved young grasshoppa.

Looks nice. I might have to come by in the near future.

I need to use your welder for a minute or two, BTW. My tacked shut wastegate flapper doesn't really like 28psi and now it rattles in there. Time to weld it shut for good.

Yeah, having something to prop the hand on to hold it steady makes a world of difference.

And you do know that you'll be perfecting your welds for the rest of your life don't you!? They can always be better!

You should post a side by side of your first aluminum welds as a comparison to these. HUGE difference! How long have you been welding alum. anyway...like a year, not even?

well right now i can hook up the oil stuff and put the radiator back in and it would be ready to roll. would need a new tun but i could still drive it. i have a bunch of things i still am going to do yet. bought a new under brace that im going to mount a bracket to to hold the oil pump and reservoir along with making it fit by the turbo. have to put my new interior in along with cleaning up all the wiring under the dash. new motor still has to be assembled and swapped but that will be the last thing becouse its the most expensive. installing a idle air controller too this year for a better idle. and some other stuff i cant think of right now

NICE JOB!!! Looks sick! What did you put down with the old setup? How much power increase do you expect with the new setup?

    Just curious...

the turbo trix car was technically started before mine. i however did not get the idea from them. the first car i seen turbo fogs on was a twin turbo h6 project. and that was a sick ass car. i started mine and had been working for a bit on it when i seen it in d-sport. allot of differences though. they run no intercooler and run on meth. not twinscroll. 11 to 1 compression i believe... ect. so how ever you guys want to look at it i guess right?

got some stuff built! made a swirl pot for my fuel system and mounted it in its new home.

also got the whole kit put on and all hooked up. oil lines and pump are all lined up and working. as well as mounted the oil pump to the new carbing under brace.

also got my stuff back from paint. two wingless trunks (one has the key hole shaved) and a freshly painted front bumper and lip.

also installed a set of bc inverted coilovers. the ride sits low now. looks so tight! time to start working on making this thing hook up.

I was thinking about doing the shaved wingless look you just plan on opening it via cabin lever?

Yeah that was the in case option but I would rather rig up a just in case lever ya know, or one of those magnet poppers.

it acts as a surge tank so the car never runs out of fuel if the fuel in the main tank splashes around. for example. if you are taking a long right turn the fuel in the tank goes over to the left causing the pumps to suck up air. this prevents that becouse the air it would suck up goes to the swirl pot and would go back to the tank. hear is a diagram of how its run:

it was a pain in the ass to make. had to cut my tig torch down to get in there to weld the inside of the tank and make it smooth in there.
