I realize these two things probably aren't in the slightest bit related, but I decided to conserve and use one thread for both...

    2004 WRX wagon, 105k miles

Issue #1: When I pull the inside door handle, something in the door squeaks. Anyone know what this might be off hand? I assume it's pretty easy to pull the door card off and have a look... ??

Issue #2: Both front seatbelts squeal when pulling them rapidly out (to put them on just before driving). Why would this be, and is it easy to fix?

Thanks in advance, all you Subie experts. :hsugh:

Yeah, I'm okay to deal with it too, but if there's an easy fix I figure why not... makes the car that much nicer to be in.

Silicone spray works great for the seat belt squeak.

Or you can take off the "B" pillar, and dremel down that plastic "tab" that the seat belt rubs on, making that awful squeal. That's what I did. No more squeal; Bob's yer uncle.

    exactly

i got fed up with it within a week of owning the car, its really easy to find the correct tab to clip/remove because it will be covered in tiny seat belt fibers. its so much better now.

    As mentioned... grease.

Pulling the door cards is very easy. Your avatar shows an 04/05? If it's an 05, door card removal will be the same as this:

If it's an 04, it's only slightly different, as outlined here:

The seatbelt squeak is probably coming from the belt rubbing on a plastic "tab" like WRXEcho mentioned.
If you don't want to break it, you can ghetto-fix it like I did and just put some duct tape over the tab.
