Don't even get me started on the way people drive here:mad:
So douche-bagging applies to cops too. Just be glad you don't live in california(just moved from there), the cops there know more about imports than most of the poeple driving them. They'll ask you to pop your hood and then pick out all of your emmision-illegal parts and hand you a nice ticket.
Next time, get the car number and call in to the station and ask for the superior officer(it won't be the guy in the car) always an office guy. Tell him your being harrassed and you'll never see that guy again. I do this all the time when cops try to throw their weight around. Just go over their heads if they become a problem.

My vehicles must not be ricey enough. Between my Buick Stationwagon, my non-turbo Legacy, and even my Anniversary ed. Interceptor, nobody EVER tries to egg me on into racing. Maybe they're scared. :)

well because people are people, regardless of the uniform. Without the distinction of "police officer" he'd be just another "douche bagger"

some people are just jerks ... who happen to be cops :p

Are they "truck nuts" if they're on my car?

I think the Miata can rock them, especially the clear sack with chrome balls!

Yes, small vehicles including mopeds and scooters are allowed to display them, and not be considered douche bags.

lol @ clear sack with chrome balls. I haven't seen those yet.

Extra props for rainbow colored ones.

you buy them, I'll sport them.

How about this for a DB move, driving on 35W south come up behind job van in the left lane, open right lane next to us, he's doing 69 I wait for him to move over he is probably 50-75 yards past the last car and I am waiting to see if he'll move over, finally I have enough and try to pass him on the right I put my signal on , and they guy puts his right signal on! it was like he waited for me to start my move!

I somehow managed to piss someone off tonight. I'm not sure what I did, but at every stop sign the guy behind me was accelerating hard, chirping his tires. I didn't really pay any attention. Then he finally lays on the horn at a stop sign after I take off and then he guns it, racing up to me and coming damn close to rear ending me on purpose. So I pulled over to let him past and made the mistake of honking after he goes past me to let him know I don't appreciate people trying to hit me. He then stops in the middle of the road, flicks me off (expected), and motions for me to pull over. I don't. He keeps going then stops again waving for me to pull over, no way. So he pulls in behind me and tailgates me for a few blocks obviously pissed off. I'm now heading to the nearest gas station ready to stop and call 911 in front of witnesses, but he pulls into a driveway before I get there.

How can someone be in such a hurry, and yet still have time to pull over and start a fight? Seriously though, I gotta remember not to honk at people like that and just let them go. I do wonder what set the guy off in the first place. Ugh...

yeah, I'm learning not to honk at people, just let them go.

my brother had the same thing happen on the same street a few years ago, he honked at a guy who illegally passed him and the guy stopped, got out of the car and went nuts.

This happened to me after I gave someone the finger once. Well, first he forced me off the road, then got out ready to do battle. I think it's kind of funny (who does that? I laugh when people give me the finger) but it could have been real ugly.

Yeah, I didn't expect that kind of reaction from this guy. Usually people honk at each other, mutter some profanities and go on their way. This guy seemed intent on having a confrontation. I was convinced he was actually going to rear end me on purpose for a while there, scary as hell to have someone trying to cause an accident. It certainly helped me adjust my perspective on driving a bit today. I didn't make any agressive moves or gestures at this guy, simply honked, and it set the guy off.
