    Car: 2004 WRX
Mods: K&N Drop in, Tanabe catback.

I've been shopping around for a downpipe for weeks now, reading reviews and the like. I wanted to get your guys' opinion on a couple things.

    CNT Downpipe: http://www.maperformance.com/cnt-racing-catless-downpipe-wrx-2002-2007-20-1219a-cnt-20-1219a.html

    Godspeed: http://www.godspeedproject.com/shop/subaru-wrx-sti-ej20-ej25-turbo-downpipe-p-198.html

Basically to me, a pipe is a pipe is a pipe. So spending a ridiculous amount on this is something I want to avoid. I understand that you pay for quality and fitment on these parts, but is it worth paying double for something like Invidia? I have also noticed that the "bell" on the bellmouth appears a bit larger on the more expensive pipes. Is this true, does it make a big difference?

So, does anyone have any experience with either of these downpipes? Or have a suggestion of something else in a reasonable price range?

CNT has a reasonable reputation on lgt.com for making competent Invidia knockoffs. I'd be getting theirs instead of Invidia if I were in the market for my own car.

As long as it fits and doesn't leak, you're correct a pipe is a pipe. Just don't get a unit that blocks off the wastegate (a la HKS).

Only other thing you want to consider is divorced WG or not. From what ive been told the divorced ones help a bit with spool. I like my invidia divorced dp it fits great the flanges are thick welds are good.

Couple reasons I'm not looking at divorced is because from what I have read and deduced, the performance to price ratio isn't really worth it and I plan on going EWG and new turbo combo next summer anyways.

If I could get my hands on a used bellmouth Invidia, that would be ideal. But it seems those are hard to come by...
