Took delivery of the WRX I ordered after seeing the STI at the auto show. Seeing my WRX for the first time was a moment I'll never forget. Never ordered a car before, nonetheless committed to something I've never really seen before in person. The body lines are amazing and the car has presence. Came from the VW crowd and I owned a Focus before that. Excited to see what I'll be able to do with this.
Nice. Just picked up my 2015 premium (cyrstal white pearl) with the Sport package: STI exhaust, wheels and short-throw shifter. Great car.
I also came from the VW community! Welcome to the best car purchase you'll ever make! I try to make excuses to go drive my car somewhere, and now that I can roll down my windows without getting frostbite, I'm sure I'll have to find more excuses to get in my car.
ahah nice! i saw your car as i was making my way to the parts department and decided to take some photos.
Small updates. Switched dome light, map lights, trunk light, and license plate lights to LED's. Debadged the SUBARU and AWD badges and installed smoke overlays on the tailight turns.
It's been awhile and I've neglected to update this thread. Now that Spring has sprung (hopefully) I got the ball rolling on a few things For winter rubber I went with Continental ExtremeWinterContacts in 235/45/17. These are priced pretty cheap and they were really good in the snow that we got. I would highly recommend these. Replaced the summer carpet floor mats with Weathertech with WRX inserts from Diode Dynamics and Subispeed. I was debating between these and the Husky liner mats and ended up going with these because I liked the material Weathertech uses alot better. Replaced the terrible halogen fog lights with Foul Weather Yellow LED fogs from Subispeed Little vinyl insert from Subispeed for the shifter trim. One of those little things that makes a big difference IMO Completed LED conversion with LED front turn signals, LED reverse lights, and the Diode Dynamics Tail as Turn Module. This is how the car should have came (in the Limited trim at least), The Gramlights I wanted were on backorder so I went with temp wheels to get off the winter tires right away (keeping stock 17s on snow tires). Avid.1 AV-20 in 18x9.5 +38 wrapped in 245/40/18 Dunlop Sport Maxx and Neo Chrome Muteki lugs to add a nice touch.
