Yeah...that was me :emo: Not one of my better moments I'd have to say....I'm SO sorry about that....hopefully you'll give me another chance to make a first impression!
Yes ma'am! As soon as i get the hotel taken care of. I'll let everyone know the hotel room situtaion.
This is MNSubaru, the butthurt can last for ages. Also, I may be going this year. I'll hammer out some details and post again when I know for sure.
I can't forget to mention your avatar too....I LOVE Domo! I have a brown one and a pink one on my desk at work!!!
You two are so cute with your secret codes...almost like twins separated at birth....but I think Pete hogged all the nutrients since he came out at just under 13 lbs!
hahaha, its the only way I know how to be! Believe me, you don't even want to know what that means. lol
Quoted from the Hotel... "I do have rooms available. The rate would be $99.00 on Saturday and $69.00 Sunday (we do not have corporate rates on the weekends). I did quote a discounted rate for Saturday which is normally $119.00. Would you be sending me a rooming list with the names of who is staying in what room? Are the guests paying for the rooms themselves or is it going to be one bill. If the guest are paying for their own, I would need their credit card numbers to guarantee the rooms and they would call themselves and reserve their own room out of the block reserved for MN Subaru Owners Club. If the rooms are being paid for by one payment, I would need a rooming list and the credit card that would be paying for all the rooms." SO! Now lets get a hotel rooms listed out. I asked her to hold onto as many double bed rooms as she could. So we can get 4 people for sure per room.
I talked to my managers at hells kitchen and depending how many people we've got I can probably get a whole back section curtained off for the event. LMK.
This route equals the most amazeing route to duluth possible. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sou...50137&sspn=0.362594,1.056747&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=11
That could be an interesting drive....whats the speed limit on on 23? only problem i see is that we are meeting the Duluth crew at Black Bear and when we get to Duluth are doing a lot more driving up the north shore....
Cant we just meet in duluth? skyline or even at brighton beach would be a cool place to line up the cars... Try something new?
I think what were all saying is that we Meet somewhere on 35 and take the jay cooke park road for some fun twistes... Then we all drive up to Duluth. I think theres gonna be alot of driving involved for this cruise... Which is great dont get me wrong. But having a few good stops will be helpful. SOOOO If we choose to go up the north shore some. That would be enjoyable. And to get the most out of the day. I think the Cities Crew needs to drive and meet on 35 and head straight to Duluth. Then we can think about Jay Cooke on the way home.
This, but the next day everyone may leave at the different times and what not. I think we should still stick to the original plan, take 35, then jay cooke to duluth and the duluth people that want to cruise through jay cooke with the cruise can meet up...
count me in I was walking around Duluth the other night and ran into a bugeye owner. he told me about this site and the Duluth cruise so count me in! I go to UMD and have a bugeye
Hey, welcome to the board man! Glad to see you signed up... I was a little nervous to walk out and see someone standing by my car haha Check out the dululth facebook froup for some local hang outs and what not http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34026&highlight=duluth
Just want to know if you dont want to do the route I proposed. I have a hard on for that stretch of road. We could easily divert from the entire path and cut over on 210 to Blackbear so all you suckers can lose you money. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sou...50137&sspn=0.362594,1.056747&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=11
I'm thinking about calling around for a better rate with a different hotel/motel. I'll let you guys know soon.
I think its a no on the 23 all the way up. We've used 35 for the last couple times. And its fun ride with all the Subarus going straight up 35. Hopefully the consctruction is done.
Wow, you guys are going to be near Split Rock right around the time that Sarah and I will be getting married on the pebble beach there (around 2:30pm on the 10th). Maybe we might see some Subies cruising around. That would be cool! Have fun guys and gals!
I'll probably break off with the group around county rd 4 then. 35 straight up is way to boring for me. I've made that trip far too many times to enjoy it. I'll probably Head up through the jay cook park on 23 off county 4, go into duluth grab my growlers and head home. I'll be with the group for a few hours on 35 though. Maybe I'll meet up with you guys for lunch in duluth or somthing? Anyone want to meet up for a caravan from the St. Pau/l Little Canada area?
