Its on the West side of 35E and North of Maryland? If not would the plan to meet at Joe's be better?? Niether is out of the way for me.
I'm coming from Archade and Maryland area, so this works well for me. I'll see the two of you at Wendys also at 8am. zission I take you will be in the wrx wagon? I'll be in a navy blue LGT wagon
Yep thats why if the forcast stays like this I will be rolling the Hakkas. My Azenis dont like the rain at 40mph, snow and JCSP are a definate no go.
I dont think Im changing my tires. I went and looked at my snows yesterday and they are pretty beat up. uuugggg, what to do
Also, for those that are looking to purchase mnsubaru/mnsoc stickers, mnsoc memberships and mnsoc t-shirts, I'll have all of that on hand. This stuff probably isn't very available for you northern folk
^^^ I got you on the sticker part. Ive been saving the one I retardedly had a hard time sending to you.
im gunna see how the Goodyear eagle gt's like the snow if i remember right they worked pretty good last winter
..... I wish I would have waited for this weekend before ordering my stickazzz Thats two dollars Ill never see again
I think everyone needs to go to duluth and go up the northshore. Its one of the most beautiful places in MN, imo... esp this time of year I was born and raised there and i love it and miss it! so to you that have not gone, GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kthxbi
So Chris, what are you plans as far as Saturday goes. I thought maybe some of us Duluth people could meet up before we meet the rest of the group.
^i agree with this! Why don't we do that... Suggestions? I'll see if anyone on the fb page has a though to this and let everyone know
Well there is a Walmart IIRC in forest lakes just down the road from target. Normally people pick up a cheap set for like $18 or so.
on the subject of gas stations and who carries what... i think the highest bp's in duluth are carrying is 92, i havent seen much for 93 in a while. e85er's... i know i suck this stuff down insanely fast and we have 4 stations up here that i can think of off hand, 2 in proctor (one on each side of 35 when coming into duluth) 1 by the mall (hanson's service on trinity road) 1 at a spur in west duluth off of the 27th ave west exit.
For those of you freaking out over having azenis or summer tires, the ground is no where near frozen and if it does snow it would never stick. It may be a little damp on the roads, but I'd expect light flurries or rain.
for those needing radios, I can rent the MNSOC ones to you for $5. Let me know who needs one and I'll make sure they're charged up.
Cool, Maybe if we are up for it we could go out for breakfast, but I don't know if people will want to go out to eat twice in one day. Or perhaps meet in the morning for coffee or your hot/cold beverage of choice? I dunno... Let me know what you find out on FB.
Talked about here for the duluth crew http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=120720325944 Long story short: The Pre Meet, Meet is scheduled as follows: MEET AT Central Entrance McDonald's at 9 AM. -110 E. Central Entrance is the address just incase. We can grab some breakfast for those who are hungry or need their caffine and wait for everyone to show up and then plan on leaving by 9:30AM to be at Black Bear right around 10ish. If you are going to be meeting up with us please make note by post so we have an approximate head count. A few of us will be bringing 2 way radios and we can set up what channel at McDonald's, I know i have a whole box full somewhere, so if i can find them all and need be, some can borrow mine AS LONG AS THEY ARE RETURNED and you might have to toss in some batteries for the ones that havent seen use in a while.
Quick question for everyone.... Do we wanna just grill out at the hotel? After we get back from the north shore? Instead of going out for dinner?
