I can probably make it. We should book some hotel rooms and get rowdy over there being it sounds like Chux's is full. Justin and Lue- you guys book a room yet???

 

CHUX doesnt want booze at his place either, i'm still seeing if the fiance can get us a discount at a super 8

Lue is the real party animal out of the group!!!! Chux must be on campus or something. I'm up for hotel option even if I have to pay full price(yur girl is a rockstar, Erik if she can hook a discount up tho). I think that would be awesome to go to the bars or party at the hotel and not have to worry about people driving home or anything like that. We never have get-togethers like that here in the cities.

 

Not full, but all beds are taken (unless you can convince martin to share the hide-a-bed with you)....you're welcome to crash on the floor, or in your car in the driveway/alley/road if you'd rather.

no, I'm not on campus. but my mother will also be in town (technically the owner of the house), and I don't wanna have a big party or anything going on with her there....

I'll start a thread like a week before it all goes down, with exactly who's coming, and where they're staying. Then we can get a headcount, and I can make reservations at Famous Daves, or Applebees or something, if you guys would like. maybe even a poll to see where people want to go.

 

Erik, I have heard the super 8 in duluth is ghetto...is this the truth? Does it have a pool and hot tub and what not. If not i think i might be able to score some discounts through work at some nice places.

 

super 8s arent the nicest, but they arent shizz holes if she was able to get a discount it would be somthing like 26 dollars a night, which is at least half of regular price, or she might be able to get vouchers for free nights, i'll check with her

Lue has it right, an RS can sleep 2 maybe 3. my car sleeps 4 (fold down seat w00t). it owuld be fun to have a dinner at Famous daves or othe such place. would be more wicked to grill on lake st. but that probably wont happen. i cant wait for duluth! it would rule if we got some snow of the way up (nothign that stick but would be fun for picts)

 

well, I think there is one there, and one out in West Duluth (= crap)

seriously, you'll either be staying in the ghetto west duluth, superior (lower than low), my place, or paying through the nose...it's up to you. I don't have any more details than what you guys can find on the internet....other than recommend that the farther West you go, the rougher the neighborhood (not always true, but...) and the farther east you go, the better.

 

Yes, anywhere other than east end is pretty ghetto. (superior, central hillside, west duluth, etc) wish I had room for some of you to crash I'm in a good neighborhood.

okay, I have been with this club for a solid 3 days now, and I have read some of this and I would like to go. Could someone give me a break down of what is happening? (when we leaving, we caravaning up there? when is the return trip? you know that sort of stuff) Is there a race up there or is this just a trip to meet soem of the duluth guys? Thanks guys

sat night, cruise, I may make reservations for us all to go to famous daves or something...
sun morning, head up to skyline drive for some sweet pics of all our cars and the view out over lake superior. then stop by my place to load all the pics/vids that everyone took onto my computer to make the club movie (and I do say movie for a reason!)

more people can stay here if they'd like, not a huge place, but I've only got 1 person sleeping on the floor here so far, so more are welcome.

I make the trip regularly using about 1/2 a full tank each way. ...and that is averaging about 80mph.
