so 15 gallons times 2.60 is about 40... and i assume were gonna tear up some fun roads so about 50-60 for the whole trip.. sounds good erik with a K do u know what the price is per room

The boss is taking care of it today, its 2 rooms in duluth somewhere, i'll let you know for sure, and its not going to be a **** hole, because all super 8's have a required appearance. its going to be 26 bucks per room so however many people are staying in my room will hafta pay a tad bit of money. we will be telling the hotel itself that we will have 8 peeps or so total, but that doesnt mean more cant come. the rooms will be for saturday night only, since we are getting there saturday and leaving sunday.

These places have around 25% off on saturdays - Days In Superior looks nice and they have a pool table and bar set up, its $55 for saturday night. Hawthorne looks nice as well.

Is everyone going to Firestone tomorrow nite? We can hammer out the hotel plans as well as we can with who shows and get all the rooms booked before they fill up(if octoberfest is that weekend).

not sure of any campgrounds, but you can sleep on my floor.

again, not sure of these guys' schedule, but I don't think we'll be offroading. but if you want to stay late sunday, we could run up to the iron range orv park (hopefully my wagon will be fixed...) you should check that place out, and it's only 30-45mins from duluth.

 

driftin240 and I are in for sure, we will both ride in his car. I can also bring my video camera if needed.... it'll be teh win!!!!

ATTENTION


The hotel we will be staying at is the Holiday Inn of Superior. They have a bar, pool tables, pool, jumbo whirlpool, and game area. Through my work discount i believe we will be also getting a free hot breakfast.

I have reserved 5 rooms with double beds in them, we can get more or less, but i just reserved those so we were assured rooms. Normal price is $100 and through my discount we can get them for $55. It will end up being $61.94 after taxes and what not. If you want a room with a king bed its $10 extra. Also they say if there are more than 2 adults in the room we will be charged 10 per person more...but if you want to share a room with 4 ppl, just keep that on the down low.

Please discuss who will be sharing rooms. And once you have figured it out either get a check to me or paypal me at [email protected] plus 3% paypal fee. I will be at firestone this weekend if you want to catch me there. ASAP

let me just officially apologize to those staying in Superi-whore

so I was thinking about places to eat saturday night, I though Grizzly's on miller hill would be perfect, but not exactly convenient for those of you over in sup-town.

What do you all think? Canal park places are pretty much out for large groups, just tooo busy. blackwoods is way out of the way. only other places I can think of (that have a bar too...) are applebees, and grizzly's, and ground round. but those are all up on miller hill. Any other ideas? opinions? suggestions? I'd be happy to make a reservation that morning for us...

 

is there an official list of whos going anywhere?.. what if we dont use all 5 rooms.. will we still have to pay for them?

 

25RSMN, myself, subytek,driftin240 will be sharing a room.

 

room # 2 will be me and 1 friend.. who else is in.. were both 18 so i dunno if some of the younger guys wana share a room

 

check the OP yo. And no, if you we dont use the rooms we dont have to pay for them. However, for the # of ppl that said they are for sure, we should definitely use the rooms.

As for dinner, i forget who, but someones parents own a restaurant in duluth, we will be eating there for obvious reasons.

 

i vote we meet at firestone before they open...such as 6:30?? that would leave us more time to dick around in duluth, firestone should work OK because then we can jump right on to 94 from snelling then get onto 35,...if not everyone gets out there, we can park on teh side of 94 and wait
