The thing is that people on forums in general feel more comfortable being pricks to others, than in one to one conversation.

cant stop.. its my nature.. I am a guy and I have one.. a **** that is.. ha ha

i am just having fun man.... lighten up.. like I told you on your other 10 threads.. ha ha ha ( <- is to illustrate I am being humurous in case you DONT get it)

anyone who knows me on here or has met me knows I joke around A LOT!!! I give Ray so much crap i am surprised he hasnt banned me...

And if you cant take a joke or have fun pointed at so many lame posts you make then dont post.... you ask dumb questions.. thats what the SEARCH feature is for... if you look about 5 posts down on a forum this size i am sure you will find the same discussion underway in another thread...

you dont want people to give you crap, stop being a jerk in your comments to our replies.. it fuels us more and believe me there are way more people on this site that will find entertainment in making you look even more dumb then you make yourself appear to be, in your own posts.....

basically get to know people more... LISTEN instead of spurting crap off all the tiem like fact then getting defensive when people shut you down.. simple..

if not.. buy stock in kleenex buddy cause you will need it to wipe away your sorry tears of anger and frustration as we sit here and laugh our way through your reactions!!!

ha hah a (<- another ha ha ha to illustrate I am having fun while posting a serious comment - in case you MISSED that)

Thanks for the link. I have read it a while ago. My question was not why or why not get a BOV. my question was, Which one of the bov's can be adjusted 50/50 recirculated?

GFB.. Go Fast Bits... I have one.. its 50/50.... they have many new designs since I got mine... stock is fine unless running a huge amount of HP.... dont waste your MONEY on crap like this.. you originally posted the reason you are buying a salvage vehicle is you dont have the $$$$ to buy a new or used one, so stop tempting yourself with bolt on goodies till you ahve your car, find out that it has no major issues, then enjoy it till you learn it... once that happens start modding safely and wisely, but concentrate on paying back your loan or financing before blowing wads of money on useless mods... is that a better post for ya..???

no go start another thread that I can give you crap in!!!

I am not planning on modding the car right away. I will at least put a 1-3k on it and see if anything goes wrong. The car will be covered by a bumper to bumper warranty so if something really bad happens i will not have to pay much(or anything) to fix it. Right now i am just doing a research and asking questions.

Another thing to consider since you're going with the exhaust set-up before a bov is to take your silencer delete elbow out. This provides many people with the turbo swoosh sound they want from a bov without having any negative issues to your car.

You may find this sound will be enough for you.

I noticed on the smart car video you commented on the turbo sound....that you loved it. That's almost the same sound you will get from taking out the silencer delete elbow.

Just a rumor of sorts that is out there....

Oil-based filters like the K&N can leave oil residue on your MAF(mass air-flow sensor) causing problems with its readings. Because the K&N doesn't really flow much better than a clean paper filter, it is better to stay with the paper! Figure a new paper filter at about every 4th or 5th oil change. And I think they are 12 to 16 dollars.

there has been some discussions regarding filter here on the board perviously.

I've never had issues with mine, but I don't know if there really is an advantage. I paid maybe 30 or so and have had it since i bought the car. No MAF issues either, but I clean the MAF everythime during every other engine oil change. Cleaning them however is a pain.

I had my MAF get too much oil on it and throw a CEL right after cleaning the filter. Cleaned the MAF and then no further problems encountered.

^you put too much go-go juice on it. I usually plan it so I can let it dry overnight with the new oil on it

Interesting. Is this just subaru problem? I use a short ram on my cougar and the maf was right next to the filter and never had a problem.

might have something to do with one of the following...

A- Subaru owners are far too eager to driver their car and do it to quick...I'd fall into that category.

B- Turbo vs. NA car. Turbo is following much more air through the intake

Drop in filters are fine, but some say it does nothing
I have one in my car

Silencer delete, simple, I think scoobymods or nasioc should have a guide
