Go for it? I'm going to be installing eibachs on these if I buy them. Looks like a good deal.
Just thought I would see what other peeps thinks.

gr2 is a stock replacement strut if that's what you want

I want something that can handle a stiffer spring... What do most peps run for an aftermarket strut w/stiffer shorter springs?

yes. imo (and people will disagree) is that the gr2 is a waste of money. (unless you want another stock strut)

the gr2's are fine. i have your exact same setup and i can tell you that its a nice responsive comfortable ride.

carl is right though, if you want something more aggressive the agx's have 4 settings of stiffness

i have the gr2's with prodrive springs. rides nice. a little stifer than stock from what i have observed, but not much. got the gr2's from ebay, no problems. i do wish i would have spent the extra $100 and got the agx's though.

that price looks pretty good and free shippig.... i'd do it, or go to the agx.

Gr2s are a bit stiffer than stock. IMHO perfectly adequate for a lightly-modded street car. I run GR2s in my XT6.

the stiffer ride is more an effect of the springs than the shocks

gr2's are fine, they work, they just aren't intended to be a real upgrade

I'd prefer tokico HP over GR2, otherwise I"ll go for AGX.

I'm currently running AGX w/SPT springs. Kinda stiff but at least its adjustable.
