Im trying to remove the cam gears on my EJ255 engine and don’t have the correct Subaru Wrench for the job. Anyone have any ideas on other options? Or perhaps someone that has these wrenches for loan or for sale?

Double check on company23s website for your year car. I’ve got the 500,501,cam lock, and crank pulley tools.

I still couldn’t get my exhaust pulleys off and had to drill out the bolts. The one tool worked for the intake pulleys.

Would you be willing to part with the wrenches? Either loan or sell?

I want to keep them but I’m more than happy to borrow them.

I always just use an old timing belt (don't use a new one). Wrap the old belt around one gear and wrap it as tight as you can and clamp with a vise grips. Then string the belt around to the crank sprocket as tight as you can get it and clamp there again with another vise grips.

Similar to this, but I usually use the crank sprocket as an "anchor" since it cant freewheel. Then use the proper sized allen and a long cheater bar. You'll have to get all of your weight into it, but should finally break free. Good luck!
