Thanks guys, I'm glad I pulled out when I did, I just got word half an hour ago that my grandpa passed, My last living blood grandparent, the guy I got my middle name from. As sad as it is it's ok, it was his time and we all had very good chances to say goodbye.

Have fun tomorrow guys, fong make sure you post your number for nathan to look at in awe ;) , since we all know how much he loves your ride.

It was fun, guys; and the free food was GREAT! We had a wide variety of cars that dynoed and it was well worth the $50.

    Thanks, LSE Performance.

It was a fine day for a Dyno Day. Sorry we bumped those who were in front of the list, we wanted to get the party started and so we volunteered to go first. It was great to put some faces with screen names, too bad we could not stick around. The results were satisfying!

HUGE thanks to.............LSE for putting this together!

yeah Idget, you put down some awesome numbers. +70 ftlb over me by essentially +0.5 L displacement?? NICE.

Who was the bugeye silver wagon that went first? I got there late, but I wanna know his numbers as I'm trying to find a comparable setup.

I was running on SuperAmerica 92 oct, wonder if that stuff was not as good as it could've been?

The cobra actually dynoed less Horsepower today then it did back in July when it had less mods. The torque was higher though, uncorrected, which is a huge improvement.

The supposed reason behind this is that DB adds 11.5% to all 2WD vehicles to correct the AWD dyno readings, which in LSE's opinion isn't a honest practice. Regardless, in the long run its only a tuning device, not a benchmarker and numbers mean nothing if you can't put the power to the ground and compentently drive it.

I'm satisfied though; it made a buttload more torque, leaned out to be more aggressive throughout, and made a lb. more boost all with just a Cold Air Intake.

    Previous Dyno (DB in July)
    462.5 HP
    480 ft/lbs

    Today's Uncorrected:
    438.5 hp
    516 ft/lbs.

    Today's Corrected to DB practices:
    488.9 hp
    575.3 ft/lbs

    I need STG2 soon
It was insane, a protuned stg2 will be nice

It was pretty fun, esp meeting some new people and getting to see their cars and how much hp/tq they had

no, you need the 2.5 liter, you'll never get that kind of torque with a 2.0 on stage 2

Definitely a good day and nice to meet some of you.

Bone stock 05 Legacy GT wagon: 200HP on the nose and ~210FtLb. Now I just need to save up for Stage 2 hardware.

What would you guys say is an approximate conversion back to crank hp (drivetrain loss) on a DD? divide 30%?

Don't know. If you figure mine's basically stock puts 120HP to the ground, and rated at ~170ish HP, I'm losing around 50HP thorugh driveline loss. Does that seem like a practical drop for awd?

<---- Subaru Dyno queen. I made 276 WHP and ~290 WTQ.

I now understand why I ran slower in the 1/4 mile when I shifted at the 7000 redline; I make most of my power 3000-5000 RPM and my power spikes down after 6000 RPM. Either I get a protune or sell my AP and keep my old numbers w/o the AP: 271 WHP and loses only a little at redline.

    Yeah shes a heartbreaker ;).
Pretty much 400whp ish cars with good powerbands and drivers are a solid 11 second car.
We'll do another dyno day springtime for MNSubaru no problem, it went so smoothly that I won't put a cap on the next one. (well we'll stop at 50 registered).
I will be asking for volunteers for some open ecu tuning in the next couple of weeks once I catch up on some stuff around here.
Thanks again for everyone that came out, it was a good day indeed!
