Probably the only pic that I will get with them together! Finally got the side skirt remounted because the last time I installed it I held up too far on it and the double sided tape ended up sagging. Now she is looking proper again! And I un-stickered it. Lost some hp no doubt, but the next owner can add their own. Now for a cleaning and to list it. Sigh, going to greatly miss this one. When the hood is open, it reminds me of yours Ryan! It has a lot of “red accents” under there! But this one is no where near as nice as yours. I’m excited to be joining the PBP hatch club though!
What?! Haven't been online in a few weeks and I just came in to see this bombshell of an update. Sad to see the BRZ go but it's good to see you didn't replace it with something boring. Congrats on the new ride brother!
The “Epic Road Trip” happened again over the weekend. Haha! Well, not to the extreme of the first time. So, I took my kids down to spend time with the grandparents in Iowa on Tuesday of last week with the STi. Fun drive down and the car is much better now after it spent a week with JM Automotive! I ended up having a guy from Ames, Iowa that is working in Cedar Rapids Iowa interested in the BRZ. After some back and forth he lined up a PPI in Cedar Rapids for this past Saturday. So I insured the BRZ and drove it 4 hours on Saturday morning to meet him, get the PPI done, and let him test drive it. After the clean bill of health and a test drive, he put down a cash deposit. So it looks like ol’ bluV2.0 is going to a new home in Iowa this coming weekend. It was a little sad when I took the cash as the reality of the car moving on became crystal clear. But I got to ride down to Iowa and cruise home with my 8 and 10 year olds, who love this car as well. And we had a great time road tripping back from Iowa on the 6 hr journey. So I was able to put about a 600 mile “goodbye journey” on her! Time to clean her up, load the extra parts in, and prepare for Saturday. Sigh, gonna miss her!
And so, the epic-ness of the best car that I’ve owned has come to its end. New owner took delivery today, a road trip up from Iowa nonetheless! Enjoy it Cole! It will bring you many smiles per gallon
