So as i was putting my new engine together i was noticing that there is an extra breather type hole in the top if the 2.5 block in comparrison to the 2.0. i might be able to take a picture of it tomorrow but it looks like it might hook up to a vacuum line like the bigger one near it, but im not sure. anyone know what i am talking about? thanks Kevin here is a pic i found on nabisco of a ej20 the black arrow is pinting to the one i have and the red arrow is where the one on the ej25 is...
its another crankcase vent. you can do one of two things.. plug it or tee it off of the other vent. i plugged mine when i built my motor with no problems whatsoever.
thats exactly what i wanted to hear, i had a feeling that was it. i will probly just plug it instead of going through the hassle of trying to tee it in somewhere.
how much did the engine cost ya? this winter i might be putting some investments into my engine bay with the right budget
