It sure is! thus we talk about them in off topic. You dont have to like anything, but it sounds like you are mis informed, and would love, or at least respect them if you actually rode one as apposed to reading stuff on the internet and watching TV Shows. If you want more cycle bickering we can go into the cycle thread in off-topic.

At this point I'm not gonna keep editing the list so anyone who can show up please do. All I ask is that you bring a few bucks,a running car, and a good attitude. I'm still waiting on absolute cost and start time but just plan on morning to late afternoon/eve and $50. If anyone has any early toys for tots gifts and don't plan on making the drop off time feel free to bring em with and I'll make sure they get delivered.


+1 for bikes:fiddy:but thats a topic for another day. Unless Ron wants to put a bike on the dyno.

 

Looks like I made it just in time to steal the last spot! Unless the list hasn't updated yet but it looks as though you've been busy updating quite often. You can put me down as Fobia or Eggroll, it doesn't really matter now that my car is practically his car. I'm sure there will be more adding and dropping, I'll be there either way.

We can start around 11am.
Cost will be $50 per car for 2 pulls. We wont be putting the fans on the top mount intercooler but can spray it down between runs.

What kind of food/drinks do people want? I can have a hoist available for people wanting to lift the car up for ????

Those TMIC can get very hot after a pull.

 

^ I would probably guess to reduce the time it takes to get cars on and off the dyno.

 

Count me in!!! It will prob be a depressingly low dyno but it's something to work up from!!!

 

Grab yourself a sprayer from any garden center for cheap. Then put some ice in it when you bring it.

 

I have a sprayer that I use to help wash my car that I can bring if anyone's interested. BYOI.

 

Room for one more? I've never had my car on a dyno before and would like to get an idea of where I am at right now.

 

I'm sure there are a number of people that'll drop out so it shouldn't be a problem. There will likely be a sign up sheet so come early.

Anybody have tips for a dyno newb? What's the procedure (who drives the car onto the dyno, etc)?

 

MOST OF THE TIME... you just hand them the keys, and let them go to town.
