I was at Old Chicago last night and they said they have wireless but not many outlets. Anyone have a spare power strip they can bring? They also have a FF special. All you can eat pizza for $8 and $3 pints. You have to call ahead with a headcount though. So how many people are showing up and how many want to do the food/drink special. No handraisers. If you're not for sure, don't bother.

hmmm, sounds like we need a minimum of 6 people... although we can have 4 people go and pay for 6 ($48 by 4 is $12 a piece instead of $8).
Not sure we're going to get six, but I suppose we can decide as things progress. I don't have a problem getting normal food and drinks, either.
How important is having your own laptop? I'm not buying one for a ff draft:biggrin: My wife and her friend said they wouldn't mind coming down for a bite to eat and maybe a few drinks. As for the specials, I don't drink so it's not that big of a deal but pizza is good.
Yeah, I'd recommend everyone coming have a laptop. We may be able to swing two guys on one laptop if absolutely needed (one using IE, one Firefox), but I wouldn't recommend it. Chris, I say bring your extra to be sure. See everyone tomorrow!

you know you can add/drop players at any time right? and that there are 32 NFL teams and 8 players in the FF league so come week 4 you'll have 20+ defenses to choose from out of the free agency? Come on people, step your game up!
Dang man, you really like to hate on me don't you? Sorry but this is year number 2 for me. I watch very little football, and when i do I usually consumer enough beer to not really pay attention towards the end of the game... no matter how much i look like i am into it... it is just the beer. I took the Jets and the Eagles defences just so you (or anyone else) could not take them! LOL! I'm willing to trade one of them and/or Mcnabb and/or Matt Ryan if the price is right! but you're probably right, there aren't enough teams to warrant playing that way.
Well it looks like I should have benched MN and not NO on defense. I sort of had a feeling that would happen, but i didn't think the difference in points would be that high. I hope my team can pull me from the ashes on Sunday....

well, that sucked. no touchdowns among my rbs, wrs and te and one rb got injured. such is life in fantasy football.
winning is tough when there is a 30 point difference between the guy you play and the guy getting all the points from a bench spot. I'll have to make it up next week.
