Yup! I'm happy. I ran pointless errans for like 4 hours today lol. I accomplished basically nothing but a lotta sweet drifting haha

we are supposed to have plenty of good weather for playing this weekend... however none for me till i find out what the nasty shake at interstate speeds is from... hoping just a wheel outa balance, praying it's not a tie rod/ball joint/etc from playing run straight over a curb in the snow...

So has anybody heard of this ice rallycross shindig goin down at Devil's Lake this weekend? I'm goin with a couple buddies and we're plannin on getting a hotel and then gettin our rally on on saturday. Well, sir, I threw a rod the day before I left on this deployment. So EFI Logics is building a new motor for me. I'm probably going to switch from the 30R to a smaller turbo, something with a little snappier response for autocross. They're going to get the methanol system working again, do the 1,000 break-in miles for me, then do the tune. As long as they have it, they're going to spritz up the suspension a little and install the V-limited lip Sami bought me for Christmas. Then I just go pick up the car when I get home, and drive her back!
wow sounds like a good setup in the works! Feel free to pass on your stock suspension my way haha jk can't wait to see it once it's all done.
I've got Tein Springs and 22mm sway bars that we're getting rid of. They'll be for sale if you want them. Perrin front, Progress Auto rear. Or maybe it's the other way around. and front endlinks.
well shucks, I've already got an adjustable perrin rsb. I've just gotta suck it up and buy a nice set of endlinks to go with it.

nice car you have there. who are the guys behind the badlands ice rallycross up there? i have a potential lead on a site with in a 30 minute drive for rallycross. been talking with scubasteve about sanctioning but it is too far away from them and the twin cities to be inspected by them so i will need a badlands steward to sign off on the site. of course that all depends on if the owner is interested or not. i am in the process of making first contact.

awesome, I'll have to hit you up in the future. I've got a buddy in town here that has been around scoobarus for quite a few years who has offered to help as well, but the more the merrier. Keep an eye out for a nice swap candidate for me! I'd obviously love to do the EJ25 sti swap but the EJ20 wrx might be more practical.
yea if u can get a donor car it makes it sooooo much easier then trying to piece one 2 geather. a 02 wrx would work well for everything but the headlights and it is probly going to be cheapest
