I will be starting a thread about the ND500 on MNSubaru shortly. Just as soon as I figure out where it should be. I'll be posting pics, video, and news there as I participate in the rally.
The thread has been made, here. Hopefully the location is okay. - http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthre...h-Dakota-500-Road-Rally-competition-July-2010!
Yea yea! I drove it all the way back to the cities and it was great! Also got er aligned today at Daves Tire and she drives straight as can be.
... At 3:30 is it bad if I wash my car? Its still dusty on the inside from the rally and it's got pounds of mud in each of the wheel wells lol
Woo! Hopefully I don't forget. I'll throw the ad out here now but I'd like to come up with something to actually look at today...there's a sort of "Car Fun in the Sun" weekend in Bismarck next weekend, right before classes start. Out There Customs will be hosting a car audio contest at noon on Saturday, followed by a show&shine/BBQ potluck/car cruise at 5 pm, hosted by Racers Evolution Car Club...everyone welcome! And on Sunday from 9am - 5:30pm, Badlands Region SCCA autocross event at the BSC Community Bowl in Bismarck! $35 entry fee for non-SCCA members, and a competition class for everyone! Last event we had three new guys come out with Subies! Should be a great time, so if you guys have the time to come on over, do it!
Alright check it out, here are the flyers for the Bismarck CAR FUN IN THE SUN Weekend, August 21st & 22nd:
Well, Brian, let me see if I can convince you. Here's the Badlands Region promo video I did this year: Also, Jake's BBQ and show/cruise on Saturday night is going to be a BLAST.
thanks to everyone that came out to the first Red River Rally Club meet up. it was really fun to get to meet some of you face to face for the first time. we will definately get together again. hopefully we can find a nice site for some rallycrossing in the area soon.
Yea Greg thanks again for the hot dogs and stuff. Bummer the turn out wasn't as big as we would have hoped, but I'm sure people will catch on. And Mike, I'm pretty sure I'm goin to ojibway. I did it last year and there's a nice size group of people goin this year.
thanks again Greg!!! im thinking i may have to do some driving and scouting for some rallyx locations one of these days here and let you know what i find!!!
Really wish i could have made it to the meet last weekend, i had to go back home and meet with an insurance adjuster instead Also bummed I can't make the rally as i have to save money for going to Canada the weekend after...
was up in fargo yesterday and the day before and saw a 04-05 WRB STi and a STM RS coupe on 5 spoke goldies up at tintmasters, then a white 04-05 STI lowered and on some nice gunmetal 18's. also saw a white bugeye with altezza tail lights, but it sounded good lol. if any of these were you and noticed someone in a suit driving a nissan versa waving at you, that was me haha.
who has the flat black 1st gen impreza wagon in fargo with big mudflaps and mnsubaru stickers in the rear 1/4 windows?
autocross in West Fargo next Sunday, the 26th...I'll be in town both days of the weekend. I'd really like to get a big Subaru meet put together for Saturday night...so...who's down for a meet-and-greet/dinner/cruise/whatever?
I'm down, track day at Sabin and cruise/food/meet at night! Then next day autox, (even though Sunday is my anniversary, so I had to ask for permission) lol. Should be a good weekend.
We're thinking about food first, at 8-ish...cruise after. How's that sound? Ideas on restaurants? I vote Spitfire...mmm...
I'd be down to tag along in this little outing. I'd probably even autox just for kicks. p.s. spitfire is awesome......if you've got a million bucks to spend.
Any other suggestions, Brian? I just say Spitfire cause it's my favorite restaurant in the area, but I know it's expensive...I'm down for whatever everyone can afford.
Spitfire is good but I eat there too often, maybe something quick like Grand Junction. I can eat just about anywhere though. My wife says we should go to Hu Hot, anybody else?
