we got yelled at were there for literally there 4 2 minutes and we all parked and stuff and the manager comes out you all have 15min to leave im like wtf. the gas station was out in the middle of no where.

Everyone was about to go inside and get chips and candy and drinks. He screwed himself out of a bunch of money. And the gas station was in Horace. Really? We probably presented him more business last night than he made all day.

Yeah we do. But I agree, we should definitely do this in the spring/summer. And over a weekend...so we can spend some time at Sabin, or autocrossing. ......or we could just hold the meet at Brainerd....
Brainerd is a good spot. Centrally located for everyone. Wish I could have made it up there this weekend, but had to work. Looks like you guys had a good time!
Yea thanks again guys for all coming out. This was the first meet that I took part in getting together and I think it turned out great! Thanks again Baird (prodriver1) for getting that restaurant for us. That turned out great!
oh man, just got back two min ago. I've had 7 hours of sleep since you all last saw me and what a time it has been! after the dinner @ leela thai we cleaned up and went to a couple bars and then it was another lock down private party this time @ wasabi sushi and i had about $200 worth of sushi and more saki bombs than i care to remember (all comped of course) the next day it was coffee a big greasy English breakfast and another round @ the sushi bar till 5am this time with some amazing sushi chefs that barely spoke english and when they got drunk oh man what a bunch of crazies one of the best times of my life

wish we would have gotten some video's of tunnel blaring twin scroll low gear high rpm sounds like sex.
I had a blast Friday night at the meet! Sucked I didn't have one of my wrx's still but I'm on a search for another wrx or sti as we type lol we all need to do this again soon!!!
Okay, if we're doing auto-x or Brainerd, we have to wait until I get back from deployment. I don't wanna miss out this!
i had a great time.. met alot of new people seen some very sexy cars... and was just awesome rolling with a big group of subarus..... if we do have a meet in fargo again we will take our normal route and it will be way better, and more people to show off our cars too.
ya i got up next to two STi's rite b4 the tunnels. they waited 4 me to get next and take off then they dusted me but thats ok its nice to know exactly how much slower than an sti the gt is not as slow as i thought actually. me thinks your all in big trouble when i get my modslol
I also agree, I think next time we should have things like that planned so that I could get set up and film it and I will make sure that my camcorder is actually charged
^lol yea that vid of ppl leaving the parking lot is a pretty good description of our organization when it comes to driving haha! I'm all for an auto-x event some time
I disagree with the "normal route" it pretty much sucks and everyone would get split up for sure. I don't understand what anyone likes about the normal route?... It has low speed limits, a stop light every 50 feet, and there are cops on the route quite often. Idk, maybe someone needs to explain to me what makes it so great cuz I'm not seeing it. Awesome meet though! :biggrin:
haha yeah, that pretty much sums up the orginization of the night :biggrin: and the video of everyone leaving the gas station was similar...until it decided to not work anymore :unamused:
