My Ferrets are named Kaylee and Simon from Firefly/Serenity, and the SVX is named River from the same. To add to the list: -Pink Flamingos -Pass The Ammo -Forbidden Zone -Sleepy Hollow was already mentioned, but it's worth a second since most people have totally forgotten about it. I second her opinion on Nightmare. Altho I probably took it a little to far.
Did anyone go and see Nightmare Before Christmas in the theatre when they remastered it in 3d a few months back? It was pretty neat.
Green street hooligans, Gumball rally, Ichi the killer, Shogun Assassin (by far one of my favorite movies of all time!), Battle Royal. I kind of got a thing for gory, super violent japanese movies.
Yeah that. How about uh Shadow of a Doubt Tenebrae Suspiria (any of the Mothers trilogy is good) the Tenant Jacob's Ladder
That's the wife's favourite movie. I was actually on location while they were filming it. So, on a trip to the UK a few years ago, I had to take her there, and we got a photo of her in the archway where Princess Buttercup comes out to greet her subjects. I don't know exactly what kind of movie buff I am, but I would not consider most of the movies that people are listing as "Lesser Known". It's funny, but I was just thinking about The Wraith the other day. I think it was even on TV a few months ago. Stuart.
3rik and I had a discussion a while back about The Wraith. What a most excellent movie!!! Its one of those badass childhood ones kinda like Big Trouble in Little China. I'd also like to add that neither of those are lesser known.
Is that "really" good? My own contribution that are arguably not obscure: Stuck on You, Strange Brew, Everything is Illuminated
Can anyone explain to me what "gleaming the cube" actually means? Ive skated damn near my whole life and never heard the term until the movie started in rotation on encore. The movie is pretty out there but a good watch none the less. I love his diamond plate grip on the board he rides at the end. Oh and when Tony Hawk goes on the chicken run down the hill in the pizza hut truck.
Dumbest name ever. And I have no idea what it means. But if you rode a skateboard when this came out, you most likely saw it. It was decent. Tony was a young mo-fo! And the pizza hut truck was FTW! Lmao!
