well got back my blue car today and finally swapped the winters on the L here are a couple. Thanks to Ray for the lug nuts!
I shoveled an additional 3-4 inches of snow off the driveway that had accumulated over the last 4 hours (my roommate and I had already shoveled about 6 off earlier) and then figured I'd go out and enjoy myself. The roads were nearly empty everywhere so I had ample opportunity to make a complete ass of myself. Here's some pictures from the trek. At the office to see how things were there. Deep. Random parking lot. Wheeee!! Back home, cozied up in the garage. R6 wants to go out and play

I'm quite impressed with them. I really got to test them out yesterday in some 2+ ft drifts, and they're still as good as new, the durability is amazing. They're certainly not some cheap flaps. The mounting was somewhat of a PITA, but the hardware has been quite impressive. The mounts are still as solid as when I installed them a couple months ago.

I keep flip/flopping as to whether I should get 'em. They look great on your car. Blue lettering with the blue car is niiiiiice. Side of your car is cleaner than mine too.

Yeah, I wasn't sure I was going to like the look from the pictures I saw online, but as soon as I put 'em on, I loved it. They also have the Limited series, that are black with red stitching. I'm a big fan of the color matching, though!
Why have silvers when you can just pack your goldies with snow? :biggrin: I get more looks from people with those gold wheels. You can tell from their faces some people hate 'em.
That's what I thought when I first saw it too & I didn't like white cars... or gold wheels... funny how fast opinions can change. It's satin white. I think I'm one of the 2 people in the world that prefers satin white to previous years aspen white.
