what room did you put the striped carpet squares in?? looks great nate... let me know when you have verified that your big toy can lift your white big toy so I know my red toy will be safe.
um... I lift extended cab dually f-350s at work with the same lift... I think it will manage a tiny subaru soon enough I will have a night down here... but then again.. who knows.. maybe not till spring.. big bonfire or something
House is looking great!!! it is really coming together fast. I like how the lift comes in a cardboard box.
lift was installed today... not electrical yet... dang it.. View attachment 14147 View attachment 14148
How deep is the concrete in your garage tho? That will definitely impact the amount the lift can hold. But you already know that. Nathan - when is the housewarming party?
4inches... the 6ft by about 12ft section where the lift is, is 6inchs... the required/recommended depth... also remember I built an 8 bay and had to cover those details... housewarming... wont let ya know er will... ha ha
cleaned the garage and workshop out today and kinda re-organized stuff for room... then Bill came over and we fondled his flaps... View attachment 14167 View attachment 14168 View attachment 14169 eventually this will be set up so I can hang out there and watch stuff... but for now.. 30-35F workshop.. not happening

um.. FINAL electric.. you know where they put in the lights that have to hang UNDER the sheetrock, and they are running 2 hard lines for the lift so thats why it isnt hooked up...
Looking good, Nate You got the walk-in Heineken closet in yet? BTW, I replied you back over at subaruforester.org
actually Derek's wagon will be the one to christen the lift on monday so in a way you are!!! I was gonna take a look at it yesterday but I had to clean and re-organize the whole workshop after the sheet rockers left... so monday after work I will be taking a looksie to see how much I can Tires Plus you h ah aha j/k
he is working on it right now.. just came back inside... lights wont be installed till??? but most the other stuff will be done...
No worries mate, it's very nice of you to help out the kid. The house looks really different from the last time I visited. Nice Job Mike
ok, so the in-laws are renovating our cabin... so they decided with everything else they are ripping apart to pull down the cabinets that have been in the cabin for I would say 15+yrs... so I got some cabinets for my workshop.. FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! cost me about $20 in gas to drive down in the Forester with trailer in tow and haul them back... sweet... At first I never thought they would look good at all... but free is free... now after a few hours with a good mate, we installed them... it took a little longer due to, see if you can guess.... View attachment 14668 View attachment 14669 View attachment 14670 View attachment 14671 View attachment 14672 yes this is why it took longer then I thought.. playing around with fitting this in... see the counter tops had a sink right in that spot.. so I figured instead of hacking apart the counter and seeing as that was the general area that the compressor was going to be sitting, why not combine them... ha ha... so tomorrow or next weekend I start unpacking the crap I have laying around and organizing the workshop... also have to put together some industrial shelving too.. We had 2 campfire lpg burners (twin burners per gas bottle) running tonight in there.. sat the workshop at around 50+ degrees. I even had to turn one of them off after an hour... amazing what difference, quality insulation and some sheetrocking makes.. typically I have a small electric heater running towards my door opener's lcd screen to keep it from failing... and it stays in the mid 30's...
That looks really good! Sweet way to make of that hole. Looks really nice that way. Your shop is really coming along. Keep up the good work!
The house and garage look great, congrats! Is that a "wide" model lift? Something that can fit wide SUV's or wide exotics? If so, could you tell me the part number of that lift and what one should sell for? I have two rotary's but need to add a wide lift.. Any help would be appreciated, TIA.
not sure about the WIDE part you are asking about... but I used pretty much the same lift at work and it lifts F350 Dually's.. os it is pretty wide.. Sp010a or something... I can look tonight and get the model number for you...
thanks.. also the lights were finished today.. just need the heater installed and 95% of the major inside stuff is finished... Before: View attachment 14693 with lights View attachment 14694 View attachment 14695
Well our MDX doesn't fit on the lifts I have(about 77 inches wide). But if a F350 fits(79.9 inches wide?).. then it should work. So yeah, if you could get the part number, I'd appreciate it.
Rotary Lift Serial # CRZ08E0384 Part # SP0A10N7000 10000 pd capacity 208-230V 1ph/60hz Pump and Meter Installed it... was around $4200 installed
congrats on the sweet looking garage!! so the lift must have arms that reach out to the lift points right?
