for an art project i used a type of flocking and it never stayed on where i wanted it to. yours looks pretty good. maybe i just cheaped out on materials
The bars are *really* far from either of our heads. I would've had to sever my neck to hit any of them. That said, it will probably be much more comfortable and less worrying when the crappy passenger seat and belts are gone.
i need to do something with my exhaust. I lost it at the midpipe connection again - seems with the car being even stiffer it's pretty easy to drop the slip joint connection (it doesn't fit together as far as it should). a little bit sideways over uneven pavement popped it right off - awesome. maybe I should just take off the rear section for the rallyx school
Weld it together? :naughty: A couple little tacks that can be easily ground off when you want to take it off?
and carl, i know a while back you were trading the brembo's for the wrx 4 pots, did you end up switching hubs as well? i wasnt positive if the brembo's will only mount to the sti hubs or if the 4 pots can mount to them as well. may seem like a dumb question, but id rather ask then buy my brakes and have things not line up. especially when i was too lazy to insulate the garage over summer and it isnt the warmest out there to be wrestling with cold parts. thanks for your help.
i have an 04 so the hubs are the same as a wrx. everything bolts up except the rear rotor. if you put group n brakes on an sti you need the group n rotors. if you put brembos on a wrx you need either custom ebrake shoes or a special rotor that dba sells
oh yea, i put it back on jackstands lol took my hankooks up to cpd and we modified the tread on them - now they're not teh suck also mounted the handheld fire extinguisher and picked up some ws50's from justin - thanks justin!
