Apparently I've had my account here for a year, which means tomorrow I'll have had my FXT for a year. Realized I never made one of these posts. I'll keep it short: new-ish to MN, a little over 2 years. I'm on my 2nd & 3rd Subarus: an 05 NA Saabaru and an 05 FXT, respectively. Both 5MT and the silver 01G paint code, conveniently. Shoutout to @euro and @Krazylegz1485 for being a pleasure to chat with offline. Hoping I can catch a cruise or meet up if they happen in the future.
Yeah, i'll have to finally make it to one of the MNSubaru things eventually. It used to be too many shows/drives/gtgs to get them all, now it's too many work projects and baby duty.
we had been meeting most recently at MOA, but it was more or less just the old farts that refuse to let the site die off and no one else would ever actually show up.

Based on calling out the specific paint color (rather than colors) on the Saabaru pictured, I'm assuming somewhere with limited sunlight... Barrow, Alaska maybe?

Deer. https://streamable.com/oun10l Insurance totaled it, of course. Whole passenger side was/is messed up. Replaced the side mirror and fender, been looking to get a rear door. This happened last September. Put the insurance cashout towards buying the FXT.
Broken leg, too. Felt bad but not much I could do and the LEO was unfazed because it's presumably a common occurrence. Drove back in the other direction a few days later and it had died in the same spot. I'm sure there's a Roadkill joke in here somewhere.
Might know a guy with rear GG doors in platinum silver metallic if you want me to put you in touch. He's not on the forum.
