You haven't seen it carl!? It was cracked in multiple spots at the ice races...I thought you would have noticed.

Two large cracks. They don't affect my visibility or anything, but I have no idea if they would allow it or not. I hate to think that I would go through all the trouble of heading down there and not get to participate!

Just come on down Josh. If you can't drive you can probably help out somehow and if they allow passengers we can give you rides on the track while we run.

Bring the elec. tape with carl...just in case I can run my car. I was thinking about covering everything but the numbers also.

I forget the exact ruling on broken windshields. I think as long as the crack is only in one layer of the windshield, you're ok. But there might be a limit to one crack or some such.

It is illegal (with a fairly large fine) to drive in MN with a cracked windshield though, so you might want to get that fixed...

Found my coolant leak. Damn heater core. Just bypassed it for now, hope I don't need the defroster too badly tomorrow. Car is held together with bailing wire right now, but I think it's all legal bailing wire.

Working on it Mark! I'm coming down either way, if they say no, then so be it!

I'm currently looking at replacement glass, as I do not have glass coverage on my policy. Last quote was $435.00. Looking for something a little more affordable than that considering it will be broken again in a month.:(

    carl, I lol'd!^^

Actually, running all summer with distilled water and water wetter and no antifreeze, then forgetting it in the winter = ftl. Glad it was just the heater core, in fact.

yea that could have been bad

and i meant that taking heater cores out of nissans is no fun (at least with the 240sx's I had - huge pita)

i think i'm gonna hit the sack soon. gotta remember to put the helmet and camera gear in the car tomorrow and I'm set

I didn't pay (insurance did), but the total on the invoice was a lot less than that on the windshield that Auto Glass Specialists just did on my WRX. I'll see if i have the invoice still.

Yeah. I'll probably have the whole dash out soon anyhow, when I do the cage, so it won't be much extra work.

Cool, yeah if you have time and could bring the info with, I'd appreciate it Mark. I don't intend to pay over $400, that's just silly.

Heading to bed, see you guys in the morning!
