There are alot of these used light sets on ebay, but I haven't seen much for pictures of others actually using them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-...-w-Switch_W0QQitemZ140227365205QQcmdZViewItem Any idea WHY? Should I get them? Thanks!!
That's not actually true. They do fit, they just aren't bolt ons. There's a little trimming to be done. There are several car's on sl-i.net that have them and JDM headlights. If I could run fogs in my car, I'd get some of these for sure.
srry didn't reply to your pm. well the reason why you'd get them is b/c they are going to be brighter. havn't tried myself but masube's old LGT had these and they are BRIGHT! i still think if you research, you'll find them around 120-150 shipped on nasioc or sli. chingchong
This is an understatement. One has to take the bumper cover off, cut it, cut the fog brackets, trim the bumper beam, drill some holes etc. Quite a bit of work. Here's a reference just in case.
meh. Guess it's a matter of opinion, doesn't seem like that big of a deal...then again I've grown quite accustom to taking an air cut off tool to my car...
those things are sick. and they are bright!. i think its worth it to do the fabrication. there are alot of L and LSi owners looking for oem gt fog lights too so you could make some of your money back by selling your stockers
I only have one stocker, the other could be stocked with goldfish. When i got the car, the right side light was full of rusty water. The one working light has a sand blasted lense and I doubt the one I found online at a junk yard for $80would match, I could have got two matching JDM's for about $150. I just have to decide if I want to do all that work. But at least, thanks to you guys...I at least can make a smarter decision than I would have if you weren't there!
here a pic of my long gone gt with jdm fog lamps. still miss her til this day. http://mnsubaru.com/forums/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=85
