Hi Folks, I just bought a set of whiteline sways and kartboy endlinks. I need some help installing them. It doesn't seem too bad, but I don't have ramps (I read the front suspension should be loaded when installing), nor stands, nor a jack, and I only have limited tools. I am happy to host, but I live in a building downtown with common underground parking. It might be easier if someone else with a personal garage is willing to host. I will provide really good beer and pizza. Tomorrow night (8/20) works, otherwise any night next week looks good. Thanks in advance!

I have the space and tools you need. If you wanted to buy a set of car ramps from either Wal-Mart or harbor freight I'm willing to give pointers rather then just do the work for you. I'm free part of Saturday and Sunday this week. I work 2-1030pm m-f. Shoot me a message if you are interested.

Thanks JasonoJordan, I should clarify for everyone I am NOT looking to just have someone do the work for me. I am mechanically inclined and enjoy doing the work, I plan to be hands on with this. I just don't want to buy ramps (no where to store them).

Well I could use a set so if you want to pick up a set of the plastic car ones in exchange for my supervision and help if need be I'm down for that

You don't have to have the car on ramps the whole time while installing a sway bar, just when you attach the last endlink.
you can do the entire install in the air, but it can be tricky to attach the last endlink if one wheel is lower than the other... and that you can do with the car sitting on the ground.

Thanks for the responses. I no longer need help with the installation.

Easy installation? I'm getting my set up tomorrow but install looks easy with tools available. Not looking forward to the diff lock down kit, it looks deceptively difficult

The toughest part was "weaving" the rear bar through my hatch's exhaust. It is a much easier install on sedan apparently. For that reason, if you bought your bars new and bought new end links, I would install the attach the end links to the sways after you get the sways in place. Plan for a few stuck bolts (PB blaster and breaker bar). Dropping the skid plate and lower arm brace in the front was time consuming, but not bad. Also as mentioned above, be sure to use ramps so the springs have a load when installing the endlinks.

Getting the car through the exhaust was definitely annoying. I have a few scratches in the bar where I had to jam it through. I also had to loosen the flange at the axleback to give enough room to get it around the bushing mounts.

A great upgrade though...make sure your torque them down! I don't think I tightened mine well enough as I started to hear some popping this last week.
